In case you are interested the White House has posted photos of the Jenna Bush wedding.

I like that she wanted to keep it simple. I wonder what was on the menu.

Personally, I am more excited about seeing Beyonce’s wedding photos but I don’t think that will happen for awhile.

Here’s some wedding advice from American Idol season-five runner-up Katharine McPhee.

“Remember that it’s your wedding … At the end of the day, it’s really about the expression of commitment in love and marriage. So don’t get too carried away. A wedding is about the commitment of love that you’re making to your partner. It’s that simple.”

I’m not a big movie fan. On average there are about 3 movies that come out per year that I put on my must-see list.

Bride Wars, which begins filming next year, will be on that list. It’s staring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson.

“Hathaway and Hudson will play best friends who are pitted against each other when their wedding dates clash. They compete for venues, services and guests, once it’s clear that neither will step aside.” [Source]

I hope this movie won’t be a disappointment because done properly this could be absolutely hilarious. I want it to be one of those feel-good movies that makes you laugh at your own silly behavior.

I’ll be keeping a watch on the progress of this movie.

I said I wasn’t going to talk about this anymore but what the heck.The wedding was on. Then it was off. Then it happened in a lawyers office. Then they decided to celebrate and have a ceremony. I’ll try to keep my snide comments to myself because Usher and Tameka look very happy. Essence has the exclusive photos.
