Many people will have a hard time making it to both. Besides that it may not be fair to cut into their whole weekend, especially if it is not a destination wedding. I would suggest just having the wedding and reception in one location. Sunday is the better day in my opinion, since most have to work on Fridays and may not be able to get off work on time. I personally have not problem with scheduling more than one photographer on different days. I did that for video and photography...but it was expensive. We shot a commercial of sort the day before. That being said, most Indian Weddings are multiple day affairs with guests coming to all events, it is plausible but only if the majority of guests are from the area itself or both events are on the same weekend. Just make sure your guests are fed and served on both days. There would be a surcharge for that I am sure due to the fact that they would have to setup, breakdown, and transport their equipment 2 separate days.
