I recently got some of my good cable channels back thanks to threatening to cancel my Comcast service. I didn’t do it for the channels, I did it because I really was about to cancel because my promo ended and the price was outrageous. But before I said hello to Verizon FIOS, Comcast lowered my rate and gave me extra channels.

So as I was browsing the listings like a kid in the candy store I noticed that there were so many wedding and newlywed shows. There are like 3 Newleywed type shows, Bridezilla, Bridezilla that is on a different channel and called something else, the wedding planning superhero show, the watch the bride pick a dress show, Hitched or Ditch, and probably 5 more that I can’t think of right now.

I’m sorry, that’s just too much. Are we really THAT fascinated with weddings?

I’d like to see some marriage shows thrown in there, though I did see one show that was something like “I hate my spouse and want a divorce even though we just got married”. How about some more shows on what happens after the fits are thrown, the cake is eaten, and the wedding dress is in the closet.
