I’m Confused About Weddings
I’m starting to get confused as to who weddings are for.
Are they for the couple who wants to celebrate their love?
Are they for impressing people that you rarely see and probably don’t care about?
Are they for mothers to live out their dreams and wants?
Are they for the wedding industry to cash in?
What’s really going on here? Why do weddings bring out so much…..craziness?
Thoughts?
I know exactly what you mean. When I was a wedding planner I wondered the same thing sometimes. Weddings are such emotional events that parties closest to the bride and groom (mothers, fathers, sisters, and crazy aunts for example) want it to be the most joyous occasion.
Unfortunately, they tend to muddy this up with their inappropriate and at times downright bad behavior.
Their intentions are good, but their good intentions don’t always manifest itself in good behavior!
