I’ve mentioned before that I insisted on speaking to my husband several times before the wedding because I kept thinking he wasn’t going to show up and I was going to be sitting crying like those women on TV.

I watch too much TV.

Anyhow, I think that’s a valid concern for anyone to have..not to scare you or anything, but you never know what people are thinking.

Case in point, a Japanese man set a hotel on fire because he wanted to cancel his wedding. No one was injured but the wedding was indeed cancelled. The man’s response to police was “I thought if I set a fire I wouldn’t have to go through with the wedding.”

By the way, he got sentenced to five years in jail. [Source]
