Q: I am about to explode and I need your help! Why is it so hard for people to RSVP? How long after my RSVP date am I supposed to wait for these annoying people who act like the count doesn’t matter? I’m seriously about to go off and trust me bridezilla hasn’t seen anything yet. What should I do?

A: First you should breath. Secondly you should accept that some people just don’t understand how important it is to RSVP whether they are attending or not. There’s a common belief that you only have to RSVP if you are coming.

There’s nothing wrong with giving people a reminder or having one of your bridesmaids or your mom give the people a call letting them know that you need to put in the final count.

If people decide they want to come 2 days before the wedding you can either be accomdating or tell them “sorry, no can do”. I actually chose the second option much to my mother’s dismay.

Still, it’s nothing to stress out over and I’m not trying to be hypocritical by saying that, I’m just giving you a little hindsight.

Just relax and enjoy this wonderful time in your life.
