Bride Diva 101 - A History Lesson

Posted by Diva on July 17th, 2008

One year ago I was getting ready to move, planning a wedding, and in heavy research mode.

Like most brides, reading about weddings was something that was exciting to me. I already visited wedding sites anyway, but now the advice actually applied to me…or so I thought.

I started to think that I’d like to read about something more interesting and spicy. There were all these articles about bridesmaids and bridesmaids dresses, but what if you don’t have any bridesmaids?

There was tons of advice on rules and etiquette but I couldn’t really find anything that told me some real advice without sugar coating it. Also I was tired of being told that I HAD to have certain things or I might as well not have a wedding.

Besides, I have an interesting sense of humor and there are a lot of things that are funny about weddings but people take them so seriously.

I just wanted to lighten up a bit.

And thus, one year ago, Bride Diva was born.

Happy Birthday, and here’s to many more.
