There was a lot of things I was paranoid about before my wedding day. The first thing was that I was going to trip over my dress and fall down the stairs, the second thing was that I was going to look fat in my dress.

I’ve been top heavy ever since I can remember so my number one rule was that I would not have a strapless dress. The number two rule was to find some under support so I wouldn’t look like Chesty McBride.

The bridal salon did ok with helping me but it’s hard to trust someone when they are overly happy with everything you try on.

I’m all for going to specialty stores, especially after reading what happened when Curvy Diva went looking for undergarments.

Don’t be afraid of the specialty stores, embrace them. One I’m starting to check out is Bits of Lace. In addition to carrying the spanx line, which I recommend every bride get, they also have this line of special bras; Prima Donna Bra and Chantelle Bras.

Now if you are dead set on wearing a strapless dress then the Prima Donna Satin Strapless would be a good bra provided that you choose the nude color. Throw a spanx on under though so you can get that “sucked in” look.

They also have Prima Donna Lingerie but save that for the honeymoon ok?

Take my advice because you don’t want to end up looking like the bride in the picture. Your guests, your husband, and your mom will thank you.
