Today is Blog Action Day, the day where bloggers all around the world have committed to posting about the environment.
Here are some ways you can have an environmentally conscious wedding.
- Try to save on paper. This means no double envelopes-Yes it’s a sign of formality but it’s not required. Cut out the extras like the RSVP envelope- Have a RSVP card that tells guests to respond by phone and/or online.
- Ceremony and Reception- Have them at the same place. It’s not only convenient for the guests but it also saves gas. Also be considerate as to where your guests are coming from. Try to pick a location that’s not completely out of the way
- Avoid Conflict or Blood Diamonds
- Seek out resources to help you stay earth friendly.
