		<description>It's perfectly fine to hand deliver invitations, and in fact that used to be standard- think waaaay back. Just make sure the envelope is properly addressed. However I would exercise caution about hand delivered invites in a work environment...I would avoid that at all costs but that is just my personal preference; but for close friends, family, and neighbors it's fine.</description>

		<description>I have a question, actually, about wedding invites. Of course you're going to spend lots of money on the invites themselves, never mind STDs. (which I'm not planning on doing)

But what really gets me is do they NEED to be mailed? Or could they be given to the guests in person if they live next door, or go to your church, or your university? Or is that tacky? 

Just wondering about your take on that, you being an Etiquette Nazi and all... ;)</description>
